Popular Kannywood actor and comedian, Mustapha Badamasi, popularly known as Naburaska, has made U turn about his claim of defecting from Kwankwasiyya movement to join the camp of the current Governor of Kano state, Dr Umar Abdullahi Ganduje.

Naburaska had earlier told Freedom radio in a program aired on Saturday, that he would join Ganduje’s camp because of the governor’s support to Kannywood. He made the disclosure after Kannywood stars had a meeting with the governor.

He boasted that he was wise enough to know what’s best for him and he would support those that support his career and profession.

As quoted by Freedom, he was full of praises for the Kano state governor, saying that “I have traveled round Nigeria and I can proudly say that apart from Lagos, there is no other place where developmental projects are taking place like Kano”.

However, in a post he made later on Instagram which he uploaded with a picture of him donning a red cap, he said, “my political inclination is different from my career. Whoever wishes to help my career, I will help his own too. I am still with Kwankwaso. Thank you.”

Naburaska’s contradictory statements have raised dust in social media, making people to doubt where he pitches his tent at the moment.
