I’m ready to recommend suspension of Emir if found guilty of illegal land sale – Kano Anti-Corruption boss

The Chairman, Kano State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, has re-affirmed his readiness to recommend for the suspension of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, if he is found to have a hand in the illegal sale of a land belonging to the Emir’s palace.

In an interview with newsmen, Muhuyi Magaji stated that his commission has found out that some officials of the palace had illegally sold the land at Dorayi, and collected a Dollar equivalent to N200,000,000.

He however explained that, they have summoned three officials of palace to give their statements, as their names have been mentioned by the company that purchased the land.

The officials include Sarki Waziri Dan Rimi, Isa Pilot and Awaisu Abbas Sunusi, who is the secretary of the palace.

It will be recalled that, just recently, Muhuyi has started investigating the current Emir of Kano, Alh Aminu Ado Bayero, over sale of lands at Gandun Sarki, Dorayi Karama, in Gwale Local Government Area of the State.
