President Muhammadu Buhari will meet with the states governors on Wednesday, ahead of his expected showdown with the Members of the Parliament (MPs) during the scheduled joint session of the National Assembly, on Thursday.
Sahelian Times gathered that the meeting will focus on the menace of insecurity that is on the rise across the country.
It could be recalled that the House of Representatives had recently demanded for immediate sacking of the service chiefs as a measure to restore public confidence in the fight against insecurity. The House had also mandated the President to appear at its plenary session and address the members on issues of insecurity in the country.
