ISWAP members raze down technical college in Geidam, Yobe State

Terrorists likely from ISWAP faction have razed down a technical college at Gaidam Local Government Area of Yobe state.

The incident, which happened around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, took the life of a twin brother.

The other twin, who has been seriously injured, is being treated at an undisclosed health facility in the state, according to a resident.

According to sources, the insurgents arrived on foot from various directions and wreaked havoc on Wednesday, torching the Technical College.

Gaidam, located north of Yobe State, is the hometown of the immediate past governor, now Senator Ibrahim Geidam.

At the time of writing, the Yobe State Police Command spokesperson had not returned our reporter’s calls.

This attack, which took place around 9 p.m., comes just over a year after terrorists attacked the town, killing several residents.
