Nigerian former President Goodluck Jonathan is said to be weighing all options before agreeing to declare for presidency in 2023.

This is coming on the hell of supporters group besieging his Abuja residence carrying placards and banners asking him to come out and save Nigeria.

The spokesman of Youth Compatriots, a group calling for Jonathan to contest in 2023, Mr Mayor Samuel, alleged that the people that succeeded Jonathan have deceived and failed Nigerians.

According to sources, Jonathan is also interested in running for the highest office in the land but he has not fully make up his mind.

However, there are strong signs that the ex-president may declare for the presidency in 2023 in the coming days after concluding consultation with stakeholders, the source disclosed.

If Jonathan runs and wins the 2023 elections, he will rule the country for only one term or four years, as stipulated by the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
