Bandits blocked the Abuja-Kaduna Highway in the late hours of Sunday,
Ibrahim Umar, an eyewitness, told SAHELIAN TIMES that they were moving in cars when the bandits began firing sporadically at them.
He stated that the incident occurred around 11:25 p.m. on the Abuja highway, just before Rijana village.
Umar told our reporter that the bandits killed an undetermined number of people traveling in a Peugeot J5.
