The death has occurred of Honourable Ali Namadi, newly elected Chairman of Bebeji Local Government, after a brief illness, according to the statement issued by the Public Relation Officer of the deceased’s campaign committee.
He died in the early hours of today, and report says he drove himself to Bebeji General Hospital, where he passed away.
Ali Namadi contested as a candidate of the ruling party APC during last week’s local governments election, and was declared the winner of the poll by Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC).
He will be buried Tuesday morning according to Islamic rite.
