An inferno on Tuesday razed down a food store at the popular Singer Market in Kano.
A businessman identified only as Jamilu confirmed the fire outbreak to SAHELIAN TIMES, saying the cause of the incident was yet to be ascertained.
At the time of filing this report, the Kano State Fire Service Department had arrived at the market, and the firemen were to trying to extinguish it to avoid affecting other shops.
