Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers blocked Kaduna-Abuja highway, on Sunday afternoon.
Travellers were left stranded around a village called Katari, waiting for the arrival of security men to clear the way for them.
One of the travelers, who witnessed the incident, confirmed that the bandits had abducted some passengers, while one person suffered gunshot injury in an attempt to escape.
