Unknown gunmen suspected to be part of the gangs of kidnappers terrorising some part of the Northwest, have killed one person and abducted two in Falgore village, Doguwa Local Government, Kano. The unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday.
The gunmen who had a field day, also burnt down the only security operatives’ patrol car in the community, and later killed a vigilante official.
During the operation, the gunmen invaded the house of a businessman, Alhaji Ishu Mai Taki Falgore, and abducted one of his wives and a son.
Our Source has confirmed that the security operatives had arrived Falgore this morning and took away the dead body for further investigation. However, the fate of the abductees is still not certain.
The Kano State Police Command’s Spokesperson, DSP. Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, could not be reached at the time of writing this report.
