Kidnappers in the early hours of Sunday stormed Lahadin Makole village, in Kano and abducted the wife of an influential and wealthy person in the village, Alhaji Umar Dawakiji.
SAHELIAN TIMES gathered that the kidnappers stormed the village, which is located along Kano- Wudil Road around 3:00 am on Sunday.
The kidnappers shot a tea seller, who as the time of writing this report was receiving treatment from the injuries he sustained.
The spokesman of the Kano State Police Command DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa when contacted by our reporter said he is yet to receive the reports but will investigate further.
