The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) in calling for the immediate cancellation of the presidential election.
The National Chairperson of the NNPP, Rufa’i Alkali, at an ongoing press conference in Abuja alleged that the elections were characterised by voter suppression, intimidation, and vote buying.
Alkali also asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to announce a new date for fresh elections.
