The governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the north have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to consider the southern presidential candidates when deciding who will succeed him.
The governors call northern presidential candidates to withdraw from the race in the interest of the nation.
The governors disclosed this in a statement immediately after a meeting on Saturday.
