Doctors at Dawanau Psychiatric Hospital and Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital in Kano have confirmed to Shari’a court that Sheikh Abduljabbar Kabara has no mental illness or hearing loss.
He was reportedly once admitted at Dawanau psychiatric hospital for 4 days following a serious crisis with his siblings in the past; however, no mental illness diagnosis was made at the time and he was never placed on any antipsychotic drugs.
The court sitting has been adjourned to 20th September 2021.
