The Speaker, Sokoto State House of Assembly, Aminu Muhammad Achida, has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The speaker presented the letter of his defection to the assembly during its plenary session on Thursday.
Murtala Bello Maigona, member representing Wammako 2 Constituency, has also defected from the APC to the PDP.
