An unspecified number of people have been kidnapped along Giwa – Zaria highway on Monday evening, reports say.
Sahelian Times reporter contacted a relative of one of the victims, Yusuf Aliyu, who said that the women were kidnapped while returning from a condolence visit in Giwa local government.
“They (my stepmother) went to a condolence visit to a colleague who lost his father in Giwa, but the driver returned, relating the incident that happened”, Yusuf said.
