Kaduna State Government has sealed off the Headquarters of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (Kaduna Electric) popularly known as (NEPA BUILDING) over tax liabilities.
The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) alleged that the electricity distribution company is owing to the state the sum of N464,486,991.53k being arrears of tax between 2012 and 2018 years of assessment.
The management of the KADIRS has announced the development of strategies to generate N60 billion Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target for 2021.
