Kano consumer protection council confiscates ₦150m worth alleged fake drugs

Kano State Consumer Protection Council (KSCPC) has confiscated alleged fake drugs worth over N150 million.

The Acting Managing Director of KSCPC, Hon. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi made this known shortly after they have raided a warehouse at Ungogo LGA, Kano State.

According to him, they carried out the raid after a tip off from a resident of the area who supplied them with credible information about the activities of some people suspected to be into dealing with fake drugs in the area.

He said the operation that took place around 2:00 am, was led by him.

Baffa also called on the public not to relent on assisting the KSCPC by providing it with useful information that would help in curtailing the spread of fake, expired, and unwholesome products in Kano State.

He reiterated that, as usual, there is a reward package for anyone who informed his office with a vital information.
