Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his counterpart, Kebbi state Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bagudu are on their way to Ibadan, Oyo state for security situation in the state, a source confirmed to SAHELIAN TIMES.
The duo left Kaduna even before the ongoing meeting between North-West Governors and other stakeholders in Arewa house, Kaduna state.
SAHELIAN TIMES reports that although the meeting is about security, the latest killings of northerners in Oyo is not part of the agenda at the meeting despite being a pressing issue.
Those in attendance at the meeting are Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa, Kebbi and Sokoto Governors, traditional leaders and other stakeholders are also in attendance.
