The police in Kano have confirmed the killing of two persons in a mechanic workshop at Sabo Gari, Fagge Local Government Area of the state.
While confirming the incident, the Police spokesperson , SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, said the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Kiyawa identified the victims as Ifeanyi Ilechukwu and Chibuke Emmanuel.
According to the police, Ifeanyi died at the spot while Emmanuel died later while being attended to at the hospital.
SAHELIAN TIMES reported that the incident happened on Saturday night when gunmen stormed the mechanic workshop frequented by tricycle riders and began shooting sporadically at sight.
