The Kano State Government has banned tricycles, popularly knows as Adaidaita Sahu from plying the major roads in the state.
The State Government announced this in a press release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Kano State Roads Traffic Agency (KAROTA) Nabulusi Abubakar Kofar Naisa on Monday, stated that the commercial tricyclists are banned from the main roads of the state from Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
The government added that it took the action, after providing long buses to convey passengers on the roads that are prohibited for Adaidaita Sahu.
Although details are still sketchy about where the “major roads” are, Sahelian Times will provide more details as they are available.
