Kano youths go on rampage in solidarity with trycyle riders’s strike

Some Kano youths have gone on rampage, demanding residents to sit at home in solidarity with the ongoing industrial action by the commercial trycle riders in the state.

SAHELAIN TIMES gathered the incident occurred in the areas of Kasuwar Rimi and Gidan Sarki of Kano Municipal Local Government on Monday morning.

According to a source, the youths took to the streets, chasing motorists off the road.

According to him, “the youth appeared brandishing weapons, beating people and Hiace buses drivers, insisting that they should return home”.

“They attacked a driver who is obviously coming from one neighboring villages in Kano, the youth beats him up and forced the driver to discharge the drivers.”

The police in the state, have however taken controlled the situation.

The Adaidaita Sahu raiders on Monday  went on strike to resit a new charged of  N8,000, imposed on them by the Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA).
