The Kano State Road and Traffic Agency (KAROTA) has apprehended 45 impersonators who had infiltrated its rank.
This was disclosed by the Head of the agency, Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, in “Barka da Hantsi” program on Freedom Radio.
Dan Agundi said, “Since when some KAROTA officials complained of salary deduction, the agency swung into action, investigating its staff till we uncovered some fake officials among us.
“Any official that noticed salary deduction, it is not from us. Maybe he took a loan from a bank,” he pointed out.
However, Baffa said, “The agency will be conducting training for its officials on good, professional conduct, how to go about their job without harrassing people.”
