After spending almost 100 days in captivity, kidnappers have released seven members of the Emir of Kajuru, who were kidnapped alongside the monarch in July, 2021.
Sahelian Times had reported how the 85 year old 2nd class Emir was kidnapped alongside three women, two of his grand children, 3 of his aides and 5 others.
However, seven other people are still with the kidnappers.
Sources close to the palace confirmed to reporters that ransom was paid, but didn’t disclose the details.
