Kwankwaso is new district head of Madobi

The Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II has confirmed the appointment of Alhaji Saleh Musa Saleh Kwankwaso (Baba) with the title of Makama of Karaye and District Head of Madobi.

This is in a statement signed by Haruna Gunduqawa, information officer of Karaye Emirate.

Saleh Musa Saleh Kwankwaso will also be part of Karaye Emirate council member and kingmaker of the Emirate.

The appointment was recommended and duely approved at this year’s first meeting of the Karaye emirate council held yesterday Wednesday.

The meeting also applauded his Royal Highness for his foresight and honouring the family of late Makama of Karaye.

While congratulating the new Makama the emir of Karaye said the new district head of Madobi is complete gentleman, Loyal, just and peace lover and Committed lead who champoined the course of his people.

Alhaji Saleh Musa Saleh Kwankwaso (Baba) is the junior brother of former Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso. He succeeds his Late father Alhaji Musa Saleh Kwankwaso who died recently.

Alhaji Musa Kwankwaso, was born in the year 1964 and a national Diploma in building engineering, until his appointment he is the Village Head of Kwankwaso in Madobi local government area.

The new Makama of Karaye also has been representing his Late father in Royal activities including in the Karaye Emir’s palace for over twenty years.

The formal installation of the new Makama of Karaye would follow the blessings and approval of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to that effect.
