The Command on Sunday said it arrested 720 suspects in a raid.
The arrests related to #EndSARS protest were made in different black spots across the state for various offences, including looting shopping outlets.
The state police command said the suspects were arrested with allegedly incriminating items including locally-made guns and life cartridges, charms, weed suspected to be Indian hemp and substances suspected to be cocaine.
The state police public relations officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Sunday, said that the state police commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu, had directed his deputy in charge of criminal investigation and intelligence department, Panti, to begin further investigation on the suspects.
Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, who matched his words with actions, had earlier warned and directed police officers and men, to move against lawlessness and criminality in Lagos state, as he affirmed zeal of the command to sustain the tempo, even beyond the yuletide season.”
The state police public relations officer Adejobi then urged residents whose property were looted during the #EndSARS protest to visit the command and claim their items with proof of ownership
