A popular Kannywood actress, Hadiza Aliyu Gabon, has gifted 200,000 naira to an elderly man, Malam Charki, who had earlier openly confessed his love for her and even asked for her hands in marriage, in a viral video.
Charki was seen in another viral video expressing his gratitude to the actress, and changing his stand from a lover to now assuming a fatherly role for his erstwhile heartthrob.
“Hajiya Hadiza, may Allah reward you for what you did to me. May He strengthen our bond. As you have said, I have now accepted the role of your father. May we witness your wedding ceremony with me playing the role of a father,” Charki said with full smiles and gratitude showing all over his greyed beards.
When prompted further about how much he has received from Gabon, he quickly replied: “I received 200,000 naira.”
In the video that earlier went viral, Mallam Charki, was shown proposing to the actress, asking her to marry him.
