The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) has appointed former All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains to lead its 116-member campaign council.
While unveiling the council on Thursday, the state’s party’s chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa stated that Dr. Ali Haruna Abubakar Makoda, the former Chief of Staff to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as the Director General (DG).
He said the DG would be assisted by Professor Ibrahim Jibrin Fagge.
According to Doguwa, the suspended chairman of Kano Public Complain and Anti Corruption Commission(PCACC), Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, will serve as Director of the campaign, overseeing Intelligence and Strategy.
He added that the three party’s senatorial candidates lead their respective zones.
Doguwa charged the council to take immediate action to ensure the party’s success in the state.
In his acceptance speech, Mokada pledged to work hard to ensure the success of the NNPP’s gubernatorial candidate in Kano and throughout Nigeria.
Other in the list include, Barrister Haruna Isa Dederi(Secretary), Professor Sani Lawan Malumfashi( Director, Election matters), Dr. Sani Saidu( Director, Student matters), Ambassador Yusuf Ogan Boye(Director Youth Mobilisation) , Sadiya Abdu Bichi, Bashir Abdu Muzakar, Salisu Yahaya Hotoro( Director, Social Media) , Hisham Habib( Director, Publicity) , Ali Bala Kumbotso.
