A man was found dead and suspected to have committed suicide by hanging himself in Gaidar makaɗa, Kumbotso Local Government Area, Kano State.
According to the witnesses, the man would be around 55 years old, and was found hanged on a nymph tree in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deceased was discovered wearing milk-colored clothes and hanging from a tree branch with a rope tied to his neck. However, no written note was left by the man to describe the reason for the suicide.
Malam Bala Isa, the District Head of Kumbotso, could not comment at the time of writing this report because he was in the hospital.
At the time of writing this report, the Kano state police command spokesperson could not be reached.
