Kano State police command has arrested a man suspected to be a supplier of motorbikes to bandits in Zamfara State.
The Command said that it received information on how he buys motorcycles in Kano and transport them to the bandits, selling them at exorbitant prices.
The Kano State police command spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, while disclosing this, said that the suspect has confessed to selling not less than 100 bikes at a price higher than N600,000 each.
He added that the suspect visits purposely to buy the motorcycles and transport them to Zamfara to sell them to the bandits.
DSP Kiyawa said that the suspect was arrested while he was trying to transport two motorcycles to Zamfara.
