Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, has nominated Senator Muhammad Hassan Nasiha as the state’s deputy governor.
The nomination is coming shortly after the state lawmakers impeached the deputy governor, Mahdi Aliyu Gusau.
The speaker of the House, Nasiru Mua’zu, read a letter from state Governor Bello Matawalle naming Senator Muhammad as the deputy governor of Zamfara State, at the plenary.
Senator Hassan is a member of the Zamfara Central Senatorial District.
