A three-year-old boy who went missing in Jigawa eight days ago was discovered dead.
The boy identified as Aminu Bukar, went missing on January 14, 2022, around 4:00 p.m. in Dolen Zugu Village.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Lawan Shiisu, confirmed in a statement that Aminu’s body was discovered in the Tudun Mai Jambo bush, about one kilometer from the village.
According to the PPRO, Aminu was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
He stated that a police investigation found no evidence of foul play in the boy’s death.
Shiisu went on to say that the body was later released to relatives for burial.
This coming 24 hours after a 5-year-old girl, Haneefa Abubakar was found to be killed by her abductors.
