Malama Fatima, the mother of Abubakar Idris, popularly known as Dadiyata, who was kidnapped more than two years ago from his home in Kaduna’s Barnawa district, is dead.
Fatima died on Tuesday at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna, where she was admitted due to an undisclosed illness.
Dadiyata, a lecturer at the Federal University Dutsen-Ma, has been missing since his abduction, and his family has been left in the dark about his fate.
