*Four final year cadets among those expelled
Four final year 5th termers due for commissioning as military officers on 9th October, 2021, are among the 18 Cadets expelled from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna on Friday.
The expelled military trainees were reportedly tried and found guilty of various offences, including exam malpractices, brutality, indiscipline and other misconduct.
The concluded Dossier Review (disciplinary action) routine exercise is in line with provisions of Cadets Handbook on Discipline and General Administration 2018 (Revised) and Armed Forces Act CAP A20 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
The aforementioned provisions are meant to ensure that discipline is preserved in NDA.
