Nigeria becomes the second most corrupt country in West African countries, according to Transparency International.
The report showed the cases of corruption has increased in the country for the past two years.
Guinea Bissau is the most corrupt country in west Africa and Sahel region according to Transparency International report.
The remaining countries in the region according to the list by Transparency are Somalia and South Sudan.
The report also shows how Coronavirus pandemic revealed corrupt practices in the affected countries and also revealed lack of proper primary health care system in those countries and how COVID-19 relief were siphoned by individuals and stakeholders.
