Nigerian Army confirms arrest of 13 suspected Boko Haram members in Kano

Nigerian Army has confirmed that it carried out an operation yesterday which led to the arrest of 13 suspected Boko Haram members in Filin Lazio, Hotoro quarters, Kano State.

Captain Njoko Irabor, the spokesperson of 3rd Brigade Nigerian Army in Kano, confirmed the operation.

He said the operation was part of the ongoing exercise after the news of influx of people into the state.

He said the security agents will not hesitate to report any questionable situation and promised to give details on the yesterday’s operation very soon.

SAHELIAN TIMES yesterday exclusively reported that Nigerian Army had arrested suspected Boko Haram insurgents at Filin Lazio in Hotoro Area of Kano metropolis.

During the operation, the Army raided a mosque and some houses allegedly belonging to Borno people who fled the Boko Haram infested-state.
