Plan to introduce part-time training programmes at the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, is in the offing, the Director General/Chief Executive, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, has said. He said that this is aimed at meeting the needs of those desirous of furthering their education in transport and logistics but are constrained by time to join the full-time programmes.
Dr. Farah, made this known recently in his welcome address during the commissioning ceremony of the NITT Outreach Learning Centre in Dawakin Kudu, Kano State.
He added that the plan for part-time programmes “…is in addition to the M.Phil/PhD in Transport and Logistics programmes, which will also commence soon.”
