The governors of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe states are meeting today in Yola under the aegis of the recently formed North East Governors Forum.
The forum is being chaired by the governor of Borno state, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, with Senator Abba Aji as its pioneer Director-General.
Issues expected to be discussed include security situation in the Northeast, oil exploration, Mambilla hydropower, and regional integration.
A communique is expected to be issued at the end of the meeting.
