Okada Ban: 3 motorcyclists shot in Lagos

Security agencies in Ogba of Lagos State have allegedly shoot three motorcyclists while trying to enforce Okada ban in the area.

The clash between the security agencies and the Task Force happened around 6pm on Thursday.

SAHELIAN TIMES gathered that at the time of writing this report, mobile policemen had been deployed to the scene of the shootings.

In a report that was yet to be ascertained by the paper, one of the riders died have died Friday morning.

Some major roads leading to Excellence Roundabout, Ogba Market and WAEC were blocked with vans of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) unit of the police.

All the shops in the major market were reportedly closed as the time of writing this report.

The state police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, is yet to comment on the situation.
