Old-crop-politicians

Nigeria is a pluralistic country with over 521 languages and 1150 dialects.

Nigeria from independence – according to the graphic presentation of its revenue – 1960 – 1999 – 39 years – Nigeria earned 4.8 trillion – But 16 years of PDP and 6 years of APC – Nigeria earned over 70 trillion.

Still – people are living in an illusion.

Lack of generative capacity – everyday violence, wanton and killings, banditry, freaky happening, cultism, bizarre, and a lot of atrocities all over the country.

I have never been as petrified, disoriented, and overwhelmed as I was. At least am not alone in my meditation.

With the caliber and quality of those we have around our political circle, the nation may just have to wait for another generation to get things right.

What we see today are human inconsistency and sycophancy.

I am worried about the lack of leadership ideals in those who claim that they lead us.

Indeed, I am appalled at the utter lack of principle and integrity in the character of those who hold sway in my country today.

When one considers the majority of our politicians, especially those that are visibly playing a role in the direction of government and those angling to return to power from 1999 to date – one realizes that they have remained or stayed in the corridors of power way past any safe expiry date.

I am filled with disappointment, embarrassment, and despondency at the middling incoherent of the political class.

The thing is, with these kinds of people around our political system – old-crop-politicians – it is almost unthinkable that they will bring our nation out of the woods.

Tinubu and his likes only nurse their egos – that give them the belief that Nigeria cannot proceed or develop without them.

We are coming to a time when we will ask ourselves if this nation can afford this kind of political system.

In Nigeria, we have a cancerous situation, you fight one issues or problem and another one grows.

We need dignity and integrity in our politics. We need change different from our politics of vilification.

The world is changing and we must see how to take advantage of these changes for our own good.

The needs for a change in the administration of the nation have at no time in its history – therefore been more desirable than now.

Nigeria is too complex for an ill-prepared, ill-equiped to-boot-to-handle!
