The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Executive Committee (NEC) will vote on zoning today (Wednesday).
The report of the 37-member committee set up by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) will be presented to the NEC, which has the final say on zoning issues.
Another issue discussed at the meeting is the venue where the presidential primary fixed for May 28 and 29, this year would be held.
Members of the party’s two main organs, the NWC and the Board of Trustees (BOT), are said to be divided over the various presidential aspirants ahead of the meeting.
The party’s presidential forms had been chosen by 17 people. The screening committee, chaired by former Senate President David Mark, disqualified two candidates.
As the primary date approaches, the candidates have been travelling across the country to woo delegates.
