The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, has named Dr. Doyin Okupe as his running mate for the 2023 election.
The announcement came just hours before the deadline for political parties to submit the names of their presidential candidates and running mates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Sources confirmed that Dr Okupe’s name was submitted to temporarily fill the void untill the party gets a more benefitting person to replace him as Obi’s running mate.
