Kano State Police Command has arrested the embattled Kano state ex-anticorruption czar, Barr Muhuyi Magaji.
Muhuyi has been hiding to avoid arrest since he fell out with his benefactor, Gov Ganduje.
According to the insiders, the police arrest is in connection with the allegation of forgery and false declarations of medical records.
While confirming the arrest, Kano police spokesman, CSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, said the police effected the arrest based on a court order mandating them to do so.
Recall that Muhuyi Magaji had tendered a National Hospital Abuja medical report and laboratory results before the Kano State House of Assembly’s committee investigating him, as a reason why he failed to obliged their subpoena. However, sensing something fishy the committee wrote to the authority of National Hospital who officially denied that the report emanated from them.
