Police nab notorious armed robber, Black axe member in Kaduna

Kaduna State Police command has arrested one Attahmona Yusuf, a suspected arm robber and also member of a secret organization, “Black axe”, after the command got the information from the residents in Kabala West.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP. Muhammed Jalige, confirmed the arrest and said the suspect was one of many who were launching series of attacks along Nnamdi Azikwe expressway in the State.

The 32 year-old, indigene of Dekina Local Government Area in Kofi State, was arrested with 92G Elite gun together with six ammunition in his Kaduna base in Karatudu, Unguwan Romi quarters.

According to report, the suspect had confessed and co-operated with the police, providing them with information about his colleagues.

The Kaduna State Commissioner of police, CP Umar Musa Muri, commended people of the state for their continuous support in the quest of bringing an end to insecurity in the state.

According to the state police, the suspect would be charged to court after the Investigation.
