Lagos State Police Command has confirmed detaining all Davido’s domestic staff for questioning in connection with the death of his son.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin, while confirming the detention said there is an ongoing investigation to unravel what led to the boy’s death.
“Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.
“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest,” he said.
According to reports, the three-year-old drowned in a pool on Monday night, but the circumstances surrounding Ifeanyi’s death still remain sketchy.
The boy was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Lekki, where one of the doctors confirmed his death.
According to reports, Davido had left for the United States and Chioma for Ibadan, leaving Ifeanyi with a domestic assistant.
