Borno state Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, has revealed that some repentant Boko Haram members who underwent mindset training and reintegrated into society have retaken their arms and joined the deadly group again.

Zulum said this during Northeast Governors meeting lamenting that Boko Haram terrorists are changing new tactics and launching attacks.

The Governor has also urged Federal Government to cancel any form of integration and arraigned whoever caught terrorizing the national security to end the long run fight against insecurity.

The Governor lamented that the system of integrating them into the society again is no longer applicable saying many of them are going back and take arms.

Zulum said they’re learning new tactics within the Nigerian security system during the training and they later go back to their groups, and society still refused to accept them as repentant terrorists.

He concluded that government should start prosecuting and executing them based on Nigerian constitution saying that those who were force to joined the deadly group can benefit from the system of integration.
