Residents destroy APC billboards to protest Buhari’s visit to Kano

President Muhammadu Buhari’s ongoing working visit to Kano has met a challenge as some unidentified persons expressed their anger on the Hotoro-Wudil Road.

The residents who were protesting over the president’s visit, raised bonfires on the road, while they pelted big stones on the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Authority axis of the road.

The President, who is presently at the Kano Emir’s Palace is expected to commission the Hotoro/NNPP Interchange Bridge located at the Eastern artery of the road.

SAHELIAN TIMES also observed that a number of APC billboards on the roads have been destroyed as security personnel are trying to bring down the situation to order.
