Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has urged security agencies to thoroughly investigate the gruesome murder of Abdulkarim, the eldest son of Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah.
The 36-year-old pilot was murdered by yet-to-be-identified assailants, who invaded his residence in Malali, Kaduna.
The Police said the attackers made away with his Lexus SUV after they “choked him to death in cold blood.”
Senator Na’Allah, who represents Kebbi South in the Senate, said though his son’s life was not better than that of any other Nigerian, his death would play a major role in addressing the country’s acute insecurity.
The Senate President said he was saddened by the dastardly murder of the young pilot.
He urged the security agencies to thoroughly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators and others unleashing terror across Nigeria to justice.
“We have to continue cooperating with the security agencies in their onerous tasks of protecting us against heartless criminals who are indiscriminate in their assault on the security of our nation.
“We must not allow the criminals to overwhelm our capacity to secure our country and drag all of us under the reign of terror,” Lawan was quoted as saying in a statement by his media aide, Ola Awoniyi.
He prayed to Allah to comfort the family and repose the soul of the departed in Aljanaah firdausi
