Senator representing Kano Central at the National Assembly, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, on Monday lost his 5 months old daughter in Dubai.
Ibrahim Shekarau is a former two-term governor of Kano State, and a former Minister of Education.
This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Media Adviser to the Senator, Dr Sule Yau Sule.
The statement said the baby who was hospitalized in Dubai has been buried in the Arab country.
“On a sad Note, wish to announce the death of the youngest daughter of His Excellency, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau. A five-month-old baby died today. She was already buried in Dubai where she was hospitalized,’’said the statement.
