Three students of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU) have died in an auto crash.
The accident, which occurred late Tuesday night, also saw two other students of the institution critically injured and currently hospitalised.
The deceased students were identified as Hamza Lawal, studying Mathematics Education; Hamza Hamza, and Salisu Garba, both studying Geography Education.
Those injured include Halili Ibrahim and Abdulbasit Aminu, studying Physics and Geography Education respectively.
The spokesperson for the university, Abdulhamid Danjuma, confirmed the incident.
They described the death of the students as a great loss to both their families and the university, even as they prayed for a quick recovery for the two hospitalised students.
